The purpose of this blog is to explain what I call creativistic philosophy. A search of the internet shows that several people are using the term “creativistic philosophy” and “creativism” already, for quite different things.

To avoid misunderstandings, this blog is not about creationism or a belief in a creator. It is about the phenomenon of creativity. My philosophical position is rooted in science, not in faith.

While I am blogging quite regularly on my personal blog http://asifoscope.org, mixing different kinds of topics and some personal stuff there, this blog is reseved to the occasional publication of some sincere philosophical articles. In this blog, I intend to develop some of the thoughts hinted at there in a slightly more systematic way.

I am going to re-blog articles published here on the asifoscope or publish links there to new articles on this blog.

I’ve have really enjoyed them reading your posts for a while now – so I’ve nominated you for The Liebster Award! 😀

Congratulations! All you have to do now, is visit my post, answer the questions and nominate 11 others of your choice 🙂

    The post is at: http://jcbhojoo.wordpress.com/2013/02/20/liebster-award/

Sorry, dud link in my comment above! This should be it: http://jcbhojoo.wordpress.com/2013/02/20/the-liebster-award/

      1. Thank you for the nomination! Do you really mean the creativisticphilosophy-Blog? I have just started that one and there are only two articles so far. The stuff I am planning for this blog will be rather dry philosophy and computational science (although I also plan some not so terribly dry stuff, like something about aesthetics). Maybe you actually meant my other blog, asifoscope.org? But the philosopher in me feels honored 😉

I actually meant both, but WordPress would only let me comment on this one 😛 I’ve linked this blog in my post so others can find and follow you – but I think philosophy and computational science won’t be too boring and neither will aesthetics 😉

Can’t wait to read you answers and congrats on the nomination once more! 🙂

          1. Thanks again, I am just thinking about the answers. That is not easy, and it will take some time. I also have to think about whom to nominate. The thing is like a chain letter so it will proliferate and I know some people got it several times, but I still like the idea.
I understood that it was for both blogs since you are following the Asifoscope for some time now.
If it where only for the philosophy blog, this nomination would probably be a real record: the creativisticphilosophy blog so far has only two followers, one is myself, I put myself as an email-follower to have a copy of anything I have posted and the other one is you. So with only one real follower and only two real articles, this blog must be damn good to receive an award already. I am so proud :°)

Take your time, I would feel bad for making you rush and post your answers and nominations in a day. As for the blogs, I’m sure the creativisticphilosophy blog will be a great success so it’s got the award as an early present! Best of luck with both, regardless 🙂 Have a great week too 😛

              1. Thanks again for the award you gave me some time ago. I have been thinking about it. In the end, I have decided not to pass on any awards. If everybody who receives an award would pass them on, nearly everybody in the bloggosphere would soon do nothing else than receiving and passing awards. Awards are meaningful only if they are scarce and they remain so only if many, or probably most, people receiving them do not pass them on. This does, of course, not mean that I do not appreciate many of my fellow bloggers and the wonderful things they post! Hope you are fine!

  2. glad you reblogged so I could find this blog!
